We will present to you a taste of the Portuguese cuisine. Visiting Portugal is not complete without a trip to its local markets. As do Portuguese cuisine and festivities, Portugal’s open-air markets allow you to get the feel and the vibe of the place, while offering you an avenue to soak up the local culture.
Portugal abounds with farmers markets, where local farms sell their produce along with fishermen and craftsmen. This is a tradition that has been carried out in the country since ancient times; and even though these markets have undergone upgrades to meet safety and standard regulations, they still have the power to transport you back in time.
You will be invited to go to the market to buy fresh food and then you will learn how to cook a delicious Portuguese meal with a Chef. Afterwards, you will enjoy the meal and relax over some good red (and Portuguese) wine!
